Our solution to this problem is to make our own paints using natural materials. This allows the paints to be tipped down the drain without any negative environmental impacts, enabling our customers to make art without feeling bad about their waste.

We are also packaging our paints in donated and recycled materials, specifically donated empty/expired/unwanted eyeshadow palettes. Not only does this allow us to contribute to a circular economy by reusing wasted resources, but it also allows us to keep our costs low. Keeping our costs low means that we can also keep our price low, solving the issue of sustainable materials being inaccessible due to price. Our methods of kaitiakitanga also allow us to prioritise community, as people can donate materials to us and feel good about their contribution to their local economy and native environment.
